Our menu is designed with the heart and style of Italy in mind.
Our menu is coursed into Antipasto, Pasta, Meat/Fish, Sides/Accompaniments and
Dessert and our guests are encouraged to share each course as you would a tasting menu.
The average dinner for two with wine is approximately $120.
When you dine with us the table is yours for the entire evening and your meal is prepared to order and served course by course.
The average “complete” dining experience at La Cascina will take approximately two hours from start to finish.
Antipasto La Cascina – our famous house antipasto offering 12 different tastes.
Quality cured meats and imported Italian cheese followed by 5 tapas dishes that change daily
(mix of traditional vegetables, meat and fish)
PASTA BIANCA (olive oil base for sauce – no cream or milk used)
Chitarra con Castagne, Pere e Noci - homemade Chitarra pasta (square Spaghetti) tossed with Italian chestnuts, fresh pear & crushed walnuts.
PASTA ROSSA (tomato base for sauce – tomatoes are imported from Salerno, Italy)
Gnocchi al Ragu' – homemade potato Gnocchi tossed in a ground beef & capon tomato sauce.
Vitello ai Funghi– medallions of tender P.E.I. grass fed veal cutlets, dusted in flour, pan cooked & topped with mixed mushrooms.
Bietola Ripassata - swiss chard blanched & sautéed with light garlic & extra virgin olive oil .
Tiramisu' – Chef Luca's classic Tiramisu'; Italian ladyfingers lightly dipped in espresso, layered with Italian mascarpone & topped with dark chocolate.
